Our Diary & Meetings

We list public meetings and events here:

  • Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee:
Hove Town Hall, Tuesday 17 March 2020 - deferred to Tuesday 5 May 2020 at 4-00pm
The latest position is that it is the May ETS Committee that was due to receive the report on the outcome of the consultation for the Surrenden Area in January and February 2020 has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus crisis.  As yet there is no replacement meeting in the Council's diary.

We will update you as soon as a meeting date is available.

Once this meeting is rescheduled we will need to show our support for parking controls by whatever methods we can use at that time.
The SAPC Core Group will discuss the emerging position with our Ward Councillors and provide advice here about how to get involved.

  • RESCHEDULED...
    Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee:
Hove Town Hall, Tuesday 17 March 2020 at 4-00pm
This Committee was originally proposed to receive a report on the outcome of the consultation for the Surrenden Area in January and February 2020. However, contact with the Council in early March resulted in advice that the draft report has been deferred for consideration at the May committee.

  • Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee:
Hove Town Hall, Tuesday 8 October 2019 at 4-00pm
It has been agreed that the Committee will receive a report on parking scheme prioritisation and, subject to the agreement of that report, work will start on preparing a consultation for the Surrenden Area in November 2019, with consultation taking place in early January 2020.

  • RESCHEDULED...
    Road Safety Meeting:
Preston Park Tennis Club, Preston Drove: 8 February 2019 @ 7pm
We have been informed by the organiser Cllr Littman that this meeting has been re-scheduled. Whilst the primary purpose of the meeting is to consider road safety issues, no consideration of local road safety in and around the Surrenden Area is complete without taking the hazards created by poorly regulated parking into account. Please attend and contribute your views.
